For those of you, like me, who love a bit of history, this will be right up your alley!!!  October is LGBT history month and some clever people have put together a list, here, of 31 icons, one for every day of the month.

They will be putting up biographies, videos and other interesting things about each icon.  The list ranges from Michelangelo to Melissa Etheridge.  There are some notable exceptions though, no Martina Navratilova or Ellen, both of whom I thought would have a claim, as would Harvey Milk.

I enjoy these kinds of lists a lot.  I’m the kind of person who, if doing nothing better, will sit in front of Channel 4 for hours when they are counting down the top 100 “whatever”.  I am usually annoyed who the number one is, I never agree!  However, in this case I’m pleased to say the number one spot went to Del Martin & Phyllis Lyon, I can’t argue with that

So who on this list do you think is there because they know the writers and who’s omission is a travisty?
