P!nk’s Irish Dates

P!nk will play the O2 (formerly the Point) in Dublin on Sunday the 19th April 2009. She will appear at the Odyssey in Belfast three days later on Wednesday the 22nd April. Tickets on sale this Friday the 17th October from 9am.

I was originally dragged along to a Pink gig for Killarney’s Summerfest over a year ago and it was amazing. So much so that we went to see her play at the Marquee in Cork which was even better…will defo be getting tickets to her Dublin gig!

I went to see her on the weekend of Pride 07 in Malahide. Wasn’t overly impressed to be honest, she was only on for 60 minutes which I thought was very short and she didn’t do any of the acrobatics she’s famous for

saw pink for the first time in the point and became a fan instantly. saw her at malahide castle which wasnt great but then again it wasnt an arena show…Id say this tour is going to be fantastic…new tour, new routines, new wardrobe or lack thereof…! just got tickets to it thanks to 02 prioity booking! bring it!

I saw her first at the Point in 2002. Her energy and attitude were inspiring even though it was just her and the band, no costume changes or theatrics (she did however take off her tank top to wrap herself in a tricolour!). I’ve been to every gig since then in the Republic; Malahide, Killarney, Kerry etc. Never disappoints.

Tickets for April 20th in Dublin go on sale this Thursday at 9am! An extra date also added to Belfast, Thursday 23rd April!
