Some Kind of Wonderful – Before she stole the heart of a sapphic generation in Fried Green Tomatoes as Idgie, Mary Stuart Masterson got lesbian palms sweating in this teen romance. She’s fabulous as Watts, tomboy with a heart of gold. Sky Movies Drama at 4.15pm

Infamous - While researching his book In Cold Blood, writer Truman Capote became close, some say fell in love, with convicted murderer Perry Smith. In this telling of the story, Toby Jones is Capote and Sandra Bullock is bessie mate, Harper Lee. Sky Movies Indie at 8pm

Circle - If you haven’t experienced the genius of Eddie Izzard, now’s you chance. Circle is one of his best including poor Darth Vader’s attempts to get served in the Death Star canteen, the thrill of Venn diagrams and thinking big – British style. Channel 4 at 10.35pm
