Cheap and Tasty – Update with list
Eating out is one of the first treats people sacrifice when money gets tight. No restaurant eating makes it easier to ighten your belt. To get punters back, some of Dublin’s top restaurants are dedicating a week to the cheap and cheerful. From April 20 to 26, 30 restaurants are offering three-courses for €25 or €30, depending on the establishment.
More than 30 top eateries are participating in Dine in Dublin Week, as it has been named by organisers The Dublin City Business Improvement District (DBID) and the Restaurants Association of Ireland (RAI).
This is a great opportunity to try the food in places you may not be able to afford otherwise, however some of the Michelin-starred restaurants have yet to confirm their participation. We can confirm that Fallon & Byrne, Ely Wine Bar, Saba and The Tea Rooms at the Clarence Hotel will be offering the deal.
I’ll pop up more information, and a list of the participating restaurants, as soon as they are available.
UPDATE -
We’re more details about Dine In Dublin Week. There are lots and lots of restaurants signing up for the festival. All of the Jaipur restaurants, all of the Milano’s, Fizter’s, Ely Wine Bars and the two Yamamoris as well as both La Stampas are just a handful of the top-of-the-range places involved.
Some other favourites are Saba, Montys of Kathmandu (which is also very gay friendly), Koh where I practically live these days, Chameleon and Brasserie Sixty6.
