Lez Web Show
A few days ago I lamented the loss of lesbians on TV. Well, you could have slapped my thigh sideways when I realised (with thanks to Gooner) that, although, we’re down a few dykes on the gogglebox, the internet is throbbing with lesbians. And not in that way. Here are three to keep you ocupied.
For starters get your peepers around Anyone But Me, the story of Vivian. She’s 16 and has to move out of NY as the smoggy air is playing havoc on her Dad’s lungs. The problem?
She has to leave behind her love, Aster (the couple are on the left). This is written and directed by some L Word lady (excuse my ignorance) and has loads of potential. It is, however, obviously made for the price of a sandwich and Vivian annoys me. But then most 16 year-olds annoy even themsleves.Ok maybe that was just me.
Jill Bennett (right), stalwart of AfterEllen.com, is the star of We Have to Stop Now, a clever, funny series about two women in a relationship that seems destined to end. Except maybe it isn’t. The acting here is top-notch, and it seems as if We Have to Stop This Now is a product of talented people who decided to do it for themselves. Recommended.
B. J Fletcher: Private Investigator is another webseries full of talented people having a great time. In this one, B.J. is longing for more exciting cases. When her ex-girlfriend, Marjorie, shows up looking for help, Fletcher ends up getting more than she bargained for. This is great craic, although you get the feeling they are having so much fun, that they don’t need the viewer.

Hello — this post brought me to your site, thanks for these links — I run an online drama blog where I link to web shows mainly from the UK and Ireland, and hadn’t seen the ones you link to here.
All the best
Neil
