Over on Shewired, they are reporting that Dukakis and Fricker Play Lesbian Couple in ‘Cloudburst’

The story focuses on a lesbian couple who have spent over 30 years living as lovers. One of the women had been committed to a nursing facility, and the couple decides to bust out.

I love both Olympia and Brenda so am really looking forward to this Staying with the lesbian movie theme, Eva Green (Former Bond Girl) has said this in relation to her starring role in Cracks and kissing a woman.

The MP for Strangford made the remarks on an Ulster radio show last year and also told the Belfast Telegraph that homosexuality was “comparable” to paedophilia.
She told the radio show that homosexuality was a mental illness and could be “cured”.

In a report obtained by the News Letter, assembly ombudsman Tom Frawley said: “This case does not warrant any further action in terms of the [assembly] code.”

Staying with good news, the BBC has an article on Debbie Davies who has won her right to surgery under the NHS.

A transsexual from Nottinghamshire has won her fight with the NHS to be given hormone treatment and surgery to change sex from a man to a woman.

Debbie Davies, from Rainworth, had previously been on hunger strike over the lack of funding for her treatment.

and finally the Advocate reports on Pop, the Gender-Free Child A really interesting idea..

A Swedish couple are refusing to reveal the gender of their 2-year-old child. In an interview with Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, the parents said they believe gender is a social construction and their decision is rooted in feminist philosophy.
