I don’t see anything wrong with it, why not? I can understand people feeling like it is unsafe in some places but mostly, go for it
I have to say I love to see gay couples kissing in public because it seems so brave. Straight couples — meh. There was a couple in the shopping centre the other day, they literally had hands under clothes. Too much!
I find it heartening when I see same-sex couples sharing a smooch in public. There’s something really affirming about it. But that’s quite different from the couples—straight or gay—who are going for gold in the saliva exchange event!
I think it’s great to see a same-sex couple having a ‘moment’. You do have to be careful though. It’s amazing how gay couples grow a third eye for the quick scan ot see if it’s safe. It becomes second nature.
Showing some love in public is heart-warming, but as my mammy would say; “enough is enough and too much is nasty”. Hands under clothes?! People, please, no one wants to see it
