Boyce Avenue
If you’ve never heard of Boyce Avenue, I’d strongly urge you to check these guys out. A YouTube phenomenon for the past couple of years, they have produced acoustic covers of many chart hits including Rhianna’s Disturbia and Madonna and Justin Timberlake’s 4 Minutes, among many others. They have a tour date scheduled in Dublin for the 22nd of March.
Boyce Avenue-Disturbia
Boyce Avenue are a Florida-based band made up of three brothers; Alejandro, Fabian, and Daniel Manzano. They started off doing mainly acoustic covers of popular songs, and in 2008 released an album of their own music entitled All You’re Meant to Be.
Alejandro is especially talented, and in their cover of Coldplay’s Viva la Vida, he sings, plays guitar and a drum all at the same time! He’s is also an amazing piano player as can be seen during their take on Linkin Park’s Shadow of the Day.
Boyce Avenue will be playing in the Academy on Middle Abbey Street on the 22nd of March from 7pm. Tickets are available on www.ticketmaster.ie and cost €20.65
