I think Pride Parades are wonderful and it’s one of the highlights of the year as far as I am concerned, I’m getting excited about it already and I still have 12 days to go!!!
It’s wonderful for visibility, but perhaps even more importantly, they allow people who don’t usually feel comfortable holding hands etc in public, to do so, loud and proud.
I’m SO excited
I’m so excited to go to Pride this year. I haven’t been to a Dublin pride in years and my wife has never been, so that will be exciting for her!
It’s just one day out of the year when you’re surrounded by other queer people and it’s all ok. It feels safe, fun, happy. Bring it on!
Its a chance for me and the other half to hold hands, be comfortable and proud of who we are. We live in a rural area so for the other 360 odd days a year we can’t do that without fear or looking over our shoulder. Can’t wait should be a good one!
