Gaelick highlights
It’s been quite a while since our last round-up of what’s been happening here at Gaelick Towers. (Personally, I blame the hectic madness of Pride and the Civil Partnership Bill.) Let’s remedy that, shall we?
This week, we are been mostly:
- Getting rather too excited over the passage of the Civil Partnership Bill 2009 through the houses of parliament. (Next, the Bill goes to the President, where she can sign it into law or else refer it to the Supreme Court who will examine it for constitutionality. Ciarán Cuffe of the Green Party expects the first registrations to take place from January 2011. Of course, next on my list, is to join the LGBT Noise march on 22nd August 2010, to say that half-measures are not enough. Marriage equality now!)
- Enjoying a suppa Earl Gae and some link love.
- Spreading the word about Thursday’s OpenFM BIG Extravaganza.
- Enduring Real L Word (so you don’t have to) with the next installment of our recaps.
- Getting some bainne with our cáCa. (For our non-Irish readers, bainne = milk; cáca = cake. Hooray!)
- Pondering monogamy.
- Asking are lesbians our own worst enemy?
- GAZING into the feature-filled future.
