There are a few new nights starting up over the coming weeks, as well as some great one off events, so we here at Gaelick thought it would be a good idea to put them all into the one post for ease of our readers social life!

Belfast Pride 26th July-August 1st

Belfast Pride festival kicks off today and will continue with a jam-packed week of events until this coming Sunday. The Pride party itself kicks off on Saturday, July 31st at 12pm and the parade will start at 2pm. For a full list of events, check out the events listing on the Belfast Pride website.

Strictly Come Pole Dancing

Previously blogged about here, Strictly Come Pole Dancing returns to the George on Wednesday on the 28th July as part of the Space n’Veda show. Featuring Shirley Temple Bar, very Dizzy, Nikki Mafia, Fierce, Abe Power, Lady LaMontagne, Davina Devine, Girl Fighter Portalanza and other special guests.

Free in before 11pm, €2 after with student I.D or flyer, €4 without.

Blah Blah Blah @ The Sycamore

Gayvents and Will St. Ledger present Blah blah Blah, a weekly club night taking place in The Sycamore every Thursday, with Mimi Rouge as the resident DJ upstairs on the terrace, and downstairs in the loft Will St Leger is curating a live art show/space every week.  Smoke, drink, dance downstairs-Look, listen, learn upstairs.

Doors 11pm, admission free till 12am, €5 after.

Dignity’s Got Talent @ Dignity West

Launched on the 8th of July, Dignity’s Got Talent wants to know if you have what it takes to win €1000 and a monthly paid gig in Dignity? This event place every Thursday in Dignity Galway from 9pm.

Mother

Mother is a weekly club night that takes place every Saturday night in Copper Alley, just off Dame Street (behind the Front Lounge). Hosted by Will St. Ledger, it features DJs Plinth and Kelly Ann and is aid of GCN Forever.

€10 admission, doors open 10.30pm till very late. Over 21s, I.D required.

GAZE Exclusive After Party

GAZE invites you to an evening of Old Hollywood Glamour, Performance, Movie themed club goodie gumdrops from an ensemble cast of Dublin’s most atractive DJs and delectable performers, from C.U.N.T, Partie Monster, Soundcheck, Super Super Disco, áit Ait, Blah Blah Blah and The Beauty Spot.

Taking place on Friday 30th July in The Academy on Middle Abbey Street, doors open at 11pm. €10 admission, €8 with concession.

KK Lesbian Rodeo Rider Pole Dance Party

Part of the Belfast Pride celebrations, this event will be a fundraiser for Pride. Presented by Kitty Killer and Gaydar Girls, this night looks set to be amazing with a Rodeo Bull dancers (inc 2010 Irish Pole dance champion Jo Robinson), Max Hardcock, Erotic Visuals, DJs Emma Steele & Sansie, Jennifer Jones & Ruth McGonagle live. There will be Gaydar prizes for “best buck” on the rodeo bull, €2 drinks and other freebies. ROAR. For more info, click.

Pussy Wagon

Pussy Wagon is a new, monthly ladies’ night which will be in George on the first Friday of every month from now on. Pussy Wagon is next on Aug 6th. Ms. Gay Cork DJ Jules will be on the decks, and this night also hosts The George heat of Miss Gay Ireland. And later that night the UK’S top P!nk tribute act Alecia Karr will take to the stage.

Free in before 11pm, €5 after.Drink promos on the night include P!nk Lady Cocktails for only €5

Waterford Pride 12th-15th August

Thursday 12th:  Mayor Launch following Special Guest Veda and Tyra Wanks, Performances by Dignitys Got Talent Winner and many more! Karaoke, Comedy, Games and Prizes with Tyra on the Decks until 2AM free Vodka and Splash of White on entry!

Friday 13th: Throw back to the 80′s with KELLY WILDE (No.1 single Gloria). Fancy dress with prizes for best dressed. Followed by DJ Steve Paulner from London

Saturday 14th: Pride march @ 3pm starting on the quays and finishing @ Dignity Bar. BBQ served on street with live outdoor dragshow and entertainment. Inside, Live Band playing Him n’ Her, Dj Shaz to follow. Behind the bar at Railway square we have the family fun day with Bouncy Castles, face painting and BBQ. Later that evening 90′s Dance Divas ALEX PARTY and ROZALLA take to the stage followed by DJ Duggan till late.

Sunday 15th: Wind Down party, BBQ, DJs throughout the day, and a special performance from the legendary Mr Pussy, plus Lady GaGa tribute “Jules goes GaGa”.

MILK Music Festival, 14th August

Previously blogged about here the buzz continues to grow around MILK. Get your tickets now!

Sisters

Sisters’ is a new women’s community night starting on the 19th of August. The launch takes place in Madonna’s, Crown Alley, Templebar (opposite the Bad Ass Café.) The launch will feature DJ Skelly and will be supporting GCN Forever.

Its next two events will take place on the 2nd and 16th of September.
