Lip Service. Scottish lesbians

I don’t know about you but when I heard that there was going to be a Scottish L Word, I squealed. Hands up if you’re into the ladies and you didn’t get just a bit weak kneeed every time Simone Labib aka Helen Steward opened her mouth to speak in Bad Girls. There’s something about that accent. Well the wait is almost over, the beeb have an offical page and 50 second teaser which I just watched.

Although some of the accents in that clip are more Taggart than Bad Girls, still! * jumps up and down * More lesbian action for the autumn and with The Real L Word winding to a close (* ignores wooping and hollering from Hal’s virtual desk *), we need something to get us through those dark months.

Those of you in it for the plot:

Cat (Laura Fraser) is a self-assured architect, unnerved by the return of her former lover, Frankie (Ruta Gedmintas), a talented but emotionally reckless photographer who arrives back in Glasgow unannounced, bringing havoc in her wake. Fiona Button plays struggling actress Tess, Cat’s best friend and flatmate who has an uncanny knack of falling for the wrong sorts of women.

Hot Lesbian Sex Scenes on the BBC3! Surely not | gaelick said:
  • Cringingly embarrassing scenes more like. Maybe, one day, some lesbians will get enough money together and make a decent series that doesn’t have to cater to the prurient interest of straight men. We can but dream.
