Running Amach is the relatively new Irish online women’s group organising scene and non-scene meet ups and events (I’ll resist renaming them the Windows Vista Social Club). In fact, the group utilises the MeetUp.com website to co-ordinate events, ideas, and a forum; you can find your nearest lesbian jazz fans, tennis group, film aficionados and more, whether that’s in Dublin, Cork, Galway or any other part of the country.

Now, a team of dedicated Running Amach members have been frantically putting together a fabulous line-up of entertainment in a bid to host a night of brilliance, and to raise some funds for the Running Amach Administration Fund in the process.

The fundraiser will take place this Saturday, 9th October 2010 starting at 8.00pm in The Lincoln Inn, Dublin 2. Details are anseo.

The team has booked out the entire pub for the evening, and there’s loads of space to kick up your heels (or alternative footwear of choice). According to the event’s organisers, the line-up is simply unmissable, and this event is going to go down in Running Amach history.

You can also buy your tickets through the Paypal link on the Meetup Event, the cost via Paypal is €12 as there is a transaction fee involved. If you can’t attend on the night you can still support this event by buying a ticket – all ticket holders will automatically be entered into the door raffle.

Tickets are limited and are selling quickly (there are currently 97 women with a sense of social adventure confirmed to attend) so make sure you sign up to buy yours a.s.a.p. to avoid disappointment!
