Fry Flies Ryan

On the eve of Budget Day, was it a terrible portent? A sign of a future yet to happen? Stephen Fry – the greatest gay of Great Britain – was (it pains me to even type this) … he was … on a Ryanair flight. I know! If ever there was proof of there being no gay mafia, this was it. The shame, the ignomy of it all! Our prince regent on Ryanair!

Yes, folks. Yesterday, Stephen Fry descended on Connemara (via Shannon due to closures at Knock International Airport) to appear on the set of Ros na Rún, by way of filming a documentary series on “minority” languages.

The poor dear is worried about how his Irish accent will sound. Can I just reassert that this is the man who narrates the Harry Potter audio-books, he has a voice like honey.

The fabulous man seems as bent on making excellent television as he is on educating the masses with great pieces of useful information through QI. Seriously, watch a couple of episodes and you will never be without pub conversation.

  • Complete and utter misogynist. Do not understand the hero worship of him on this site! He is a mere mortal and we should all not be surprised that he likes to save the pennies like the rest of us :) Want to hear more about interesting women and less about boring buffoons!
