Do you have just two hours per fortnight to make a valuable contribution to the fight for equality for same sex couples, our families and our children? Become a Marriage Equality volunteer!

At Marriage Equality, our work would not be possible without the help of our volunteers – they’re a huge part of what we do! We’re always looking for new people to join our team… would you be able to contribute your time and expertise to our campaign?

We are looking for committed volunteers to help out on our phone lines, by contacting our supporters and giving them more information and encouragement in going to visit their TDs.

• You give: your time, approximately 2 hours every fortnight for at least 6 months; your commitment and energy to progressing this campaign.
• You get: the satisfaction of being involved in one of the most important equality issues of our generation; training and experience that can develop your personal and professional skills and an understanding of political engagement and campaigning.

If you enjoy working as part of a team, want to be involved in grassroots mobilisation and have excellent communications skills and telephone manner, then this could be the volunteering opportunity for you.
