Six in the City: RTÉ seeks night owl couples!

This just in from RTÉ:

RTE SEEKS NIGHT-LIFE LOVING COUPLES FOR NEW PILOT SERIES

Do you and your other half know what makes for an amazing night out in your city? Reckon you can show the nation how it’s done and beat two other couples at their own game in a brand new programme for RTÉ?

Six in the City is a new show format which will pilot on RTÉ Two this autumn. It will feature three couples living in three different Irish cities, each one vying to host the biggest, most rollicking, best craic night on the tiles… strictly on their own terms!

Six in the City gives you the chance to showcase the social side of your city by hosting two other couples on a night out. And it doesn’t have to involve the pub! Whatever you think makes up a great night out for you and your partner might be the night that wins the votes of the other two couples. Celebrate your city and all it has to offer!

So whether you’re into rockabilly, jazz, or death metal; know where to find the best foodie feast or a great live band; or prefer a night at the opera or the karaoke – RTÉ wants to hear from you.

You’ll need to live in or near Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Waterford, Kilkenny, Newry, Lisburn, Belfast, Armagh or Derry and be up for hooking-up with two other couples for three great expenses-paid nights out.

You’ll both need to be over 23 (no upper age limit), and be happy to spend four days being filmed over the last three weekends in July. The deadline for applications is Monday, 9th July.

The couple who host the best night out will win a bespoke European city break, specially tailored to their interests!
