The Pride season continues in full swing! Just as Waterford Pride comes to a close, preparations are underway for Pride events taking place in Galway, Kilkenny and Limerick.

Here’s the run-down on the first of those, Galway Community Pride, which runs from 23rd–26th August next.

Thursday, 23rd August

• 7pm: Pride Launch at The Harbour Hotel. Guest speakers, wine reception, finger food and entertainment
• 9pm: Ciorcal Cainte at Áras na nGael, Dominick Street
• 8:30pm: Go Wild at Wilde’s Bar with DJ Betty and Mr Gay Galway Final. Continues till late

Friday, 24th August

• 5pm: Sex workshop ‘how to have great sex’ upstairs at Wilde’s Bar
• 7pm: Memorial Service at Woodquay Park: a candlelight ceremony to remember our loved ones
• 8pm: Art exhibition launch at Bar Eight, Dock Road, The Docks
• DJ Sinead (Loafers Bar) at Wilde’s Bar
• 10:30pm: Pride Club with special guest Demi Whore at the Commercial Boat Club, Woodquay. Till late!

Saturday, 25th August

• 9:45am: Eamonn Duddy Memorial cup – 5 a side soccer tournament at the Kingfisher Club, NUI
• 2pm: Galway Pride Parade! – from the Town Hall Theatre, Woodquay followed by Party at the Museum, Spanish Arch
• 4pm: Wilde’s beer garden with Adele Tribute, DJ Betty, Pride Got Talent finalists, Iain Bohan dance act and local drag acts
• 7pm: “Geílli” 2012. Themed Céilli with Audrey De Chantez at Áras na nGael, Dominick Street
• 10:30pm: DJ Karen (The George) and special guests Pride Got Talent winners at the Pride Club at the Commercial Boat Club, Woodquay

Sunday, 26th August

• 2pm: Cruise on the Corrib with Kiki St. Clair and DJ Betty
• 4pm: Monster Raffle Draw at the Harbour Hotel with local artists
• 7pm: Wilde’s Bar with DJ Kiki and surprise special guests
• 10:30pm: Pride Club Wrap up Party with performances from an array of Galway’s best DJs and Drag Acts at the Commercial Boat Club
