About Glitter Bomb
Mirrored around the popular form of political protest used in the U.S. by pro same sex marriage groups against leading conservative politicians, the fabulously political night will be like no other the George has seen before.
Hosted by David ‘D-Pole’ and his inviting team of Glitterati, the explosive new night will take getting ‘Glitter Bombed’ to the next level. Ronan Hurley from Gobsmacked Media will be there to catch your exploits in sparkling photographs. DJ’s Ciaran F and Karen will be taking over the decks, pumping out hit after hit for an electrifying night, all topped off with ‘Glitter Bomb’ drink specials which are sure to add a touch of sparkle to your adventure.
Glitter Bomb will take place every Friday night in The George Bar & Nightclub kick-starting last Friday, 25th January. Entry to Glitter Bomb is free before 10pm, €5 until midnight and €8 after. All proceeds between 10pm and midnight will go towards Dublin LGBTQ Pride.
Speaking of the night, Chris Procter, LGBTQ Pride Chairperson said;
“We are incredibly excited to work in conjunction with The George on this new fantastic club night. 2013 is the 30th Anniversary of the Pride Parade and the support provided by The George from this weekly event will help to make it the best Pride Festival Ever!!!”
