For those of you who still haven’t been to Crush, you really need to head along and experience the night that is taking the scene by storm. Taking place in the Grand Social on the 3rd Friday of every month, the night is in aid of GCN forever, and is marketed as somewhere you can “Dance to tunes you know with someone you want to get to know…”

And dance you will! With the ever fantastic DJ Jules on the decks, it’s impossible to leave the dancefloor. With tunes from all genres and all decades played throughout the night, there honestly is something for everyone.

This Friday, there is a special Crush to celebrate Paddy’s Day, and we’ve been promised lots of green goodies in honour of the occasion. Crush comes with its own fully-covered smoking area, PLUS a food bar for when you get the 2am urge for a burger!

The organisers want you to

“dust off those Irish dancing shoes, set your hair curler to ringlet and come out and kick off your Patrick’s Day weekend by having a bit of sport agus spraoi in Crush.”

How can anyone say no to that?? Sure be rude not to!

As always, there are some great drinks promos including:

-Vodka or Spiced Rum & dash €5
-3 Bottles of San Miguel €10
-3 Bottles of Bavaria €10
-3pt pitcher Carlsberg €12
-Special shot €3.50
-Mojitos €6.50

All the event info and special offers can be found on the Facebook event page:

  • Would this be guy friendly? Sounds like a really good night and we might be looking for something a bit queer to head to on Paddy’s day.

  • I must go. I hope its nice girls. Last time I went to a womens club I got showered with verbal abuse with somebody who hadn’t forgiven me from defriending her on Facebook 4 years previously . . .
