The 2013 Limerick LGBTQ Pride festival is in its early planning stage and the organising committee want to get everyone engaged with the festival. The Volunteer drive starts with the Big Little Social Mixer event on January 26th at 9pm sharp, in the intimate surrounds of the Piano Bar, upstairs at Bentleys.

A protest will take place outside the Ukrainian Embassy in Dublin tomorrow, Wednesday, 4th July at 6:30pm calling for an end to state-sponsored homophobia in Ukraine. The so-called ‘Homosexual Propaganda’ Bill currently being proposed in that country would ban even the most basic expressions of support for LGBT people and is an affront to human rights and dignity.
