A Perfect Ending is the most recent lesbian romance by writer/director Nicole Conn. It stars Jessica Clark, Barbara Niven, Morgan Fairchild and John Heard. Nicole Conn is best known for her films Claire of the Moon and Elena Undone.

Morning ladies and a Happy Pride! Hope ye are all set for the dkye night tonight. It always amazes me how many lesbians show up for this one night and then disappear off the scene for the rest of the year. Its like someone lifted a big rainbow rock and out come the girls. Not that I am complaining, ye are all fabulous!

Oh, lesbian films. How do you disappoint us, let us count the ways! Let’s think back: Go Fish, High Art, Bound, and of course the “classic” of the genre, Claire of the Moon. Thankfully with Hannah Free my fears were unfounded.

Claire of the Moon is the butt of many a lesbian joke. Why? Well it’s crap for a start – awful clothes, stilted dialogue and dodgy acting by people who seem to think they’re in the lesbian equivalent of Citizen Kane. Also, it reminds those of us of a certain age, just how desperate we were for lesbian characters; so desperate that we paid out enough money for Claire of the Moon to be seen as a hit.
