Attention bis, leslies and transfolks! There is plenty happening to keep you occupied this weekend, so I thought, “What better than to present all of that information in one handy post?” (Plus, I decided to call it a BLT Sandwich. And I’m not even sorry.)

Following on from the events of my last two posts, I decided it was high time that I tried out the lesbian scene in Paris. So a couple of weeks ago I hopped the TGV to civilization to meet a couple of friends and check out the bars.

The final of the Ms. Gay Ireland competition was held in Limerick recently, and I was able to ask the winner, Emma Parkes (a bartender in The George) a few questions about her new role. Judging by her answers, we will be seeing great things from her this year!

As you know from my last post, I have been bemoaning the serious lack of the gay around these parts. I had somehow forgotten that this university has an entire building of Arts du Spectacle, and as we all know: if there is gay to be found, start with the theatre!

Although that has recently become the standard response to any relationship woes, this time we’re talking about something more than a handy response to any problem! This night has taken note of the demand for more BYOB events in Dublin and the event description encourages everyone to “Bring your own booze and let’s get loco”

Remember Alcazar? Well if you don’t remember them, I’m sure you remember the song “Crying At The Discotheque” from the early 2000s? They’re playing the the George tonight, and anyone into cheesy camp music should head along!

Held in the Front Lounge on the last Wednesday of the month, if you’re looking for a different night out, that is both really chilled and funny, this may be for you!

This theme of this years Pride Dyke Night is The Speakeasy, so expect all things 1920s! Hosted by the ever amazing Phil T. Gorgeous, this is set to be an unmissable night!

I caught up with Pamela and Peter from The Trouble Is to interview them about the band, and we at Gaelick towers are able to exclusively reveal that they will be playing at the Pride Night Party (Delerium) in the Purty Kitchen on the 25th of June.
