This past week has seen an awful lot of action on the LGBTQ front, with lots of lesbians not actually being lesbians at all. There was the despicable hoax of Amina, the shocking Paula Brooks fiasco, and last but not least people, the AWFUL display by Dianna Agron flaunting a T-shirt that read LIKES GIRLS. Glee continues to hurray the gay week in, week out. I particularly liked this week’s episode and how it managed to show all the stages of coming out, with every one of the queer characters at a different point along their journey. And Kurt continues to be the most fabulous person on the gogglebox.

Last week, in what is becoming my weekly Glee post, I mentioned that Glee is Popular without the songs. Then I thought about it and realised that it is; literally. I’m sure I’m late to the party here and this has been posted everywhere. But it bears re-iterating. So there.

Last week, I wrote about how Santana broke this old heart of mine, only to get an email from a friend this week made up of just three words; “Glee gets gayer”. I thought she was yanking my chain, or was just catching up and had only seen Santana get her heart broken. I mean how much gayer could it get? How wrong I was.

I was trying to describe the “Sexy” Glee episode to a friend and started with, “It’s just so gay”. She scoffed and sarcastically retorted, “Really? Glee? Gay?”. Smart arse. SPOILERS!!!

The Golden Globes took place over the weekend and it turned into a very gay affair with wins for Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer and Natalie Portman.

Their relationship has been put on Glee’s back-boilers. However, are Brittany and Santana lesbians, bisexual, to they defy categorisation? Is it actually more interesting that we have to guess? Or ultimately, does it matter?

You either love them or hate them but around this time of year you can’t avoid them. Christmas songs! I love Christmas and christmas music. I have 5 versions of White Christmas including an awful one by Micheal Bolton. Actually I really should get rid of that one.
