A recent survey (the source of which I can’t find) is quoted all over the interweb this week, as having the lesbian sex scene in Black Swan voted Sexiest Film Moment. Double-you tee eff? Here are just half a dozen other choices for your pleasure. And none of them are safe for work.

This is going to be a bitch of a week. Pants to that! Let’s distract ourselves. How? With lovely ladies of course. Specifically lovely ladies kissing other lovely ladies. These vids are most definitely not safe for work, and I had a gay old time researching.

Television cops would be nothing without the ridiculously gorgeous scientist/pathologist/doctor who delivers silly techno-babble with a straight face. What did the police do without knowing just how important are the bullet trajectory, splatter sequences and varying possible indentations caused by an array of weapons?

What is it about a badge and a gun? Why does the combo turn the most intellegent, articulate of women into a drooling mass of hormones? Tough female cops are hot, there’s no way round it. Let’s be honest, in the history of tellyland we’ve been pretty starved for lady-loving ladies. Over in the states they’ve had it even worse than us. In my lifetime (shurrup down the back) the first lesbian couple on TV were Beth Jordache and Margaret Clements in Brookside back in 1993, American audiences had to wait until Tara put a spell on Willow in 2000. Is watching TV on TV a dead duck? I for one am now addicted to YouTube where we can enjoy all the lesbian storylines from around the globe, some nice lesbian is always out there to put subtitles up for us.

I miss lesbians. The telly kind. We haven’t had a good ‘have to watch it’ lesbian romance on the box in many a year. Ok there was The L Word but other than that leztravaganza, think about it, when was the last time you had to watch? On UK telly there was Skins, on Oz telly there were Charlie and Joey and what a let down that was. Other than that? Anyone? See my dilemma?
