Yummy Mummy

Oct 3rd, 2011 | By HAL | Category: People we Love

For no other reasons than they are gorgeous and I can, here are a group of ladies who show that having a wee wan does nothing to diminish your sex appeal. There are so many of these ladies, that this is the first of two posts. You’re welcome.

A random list of randomly music-related things, and a little bit queer. What do you think? Can you believe that I’ve omitted something that should have changed my life? Are you outraged that I’ve included something here? Get commenting!

Oh, you remember Tegan and Sara. They played recently in Dublin’s Olympia (the night of the P!nk near-riot in PantiBar). Well, I for one missed their free gig earlier that day in Tower Records. But now we bring you that gig in two parts! Plus, there’s more

Ladies love to be tickled Pink

Jun 18th, 2010 | By Annie Aura | Category: Featured, People we Love

P!nk turning up unannounced at Pantibar this week and then squeezing in with the punters on the stairs to watch the show just goes to prove how down to earth she is and how much we love her. Herself and hubby, Carey, were relaxed and chatty with everyone until word got out and a stampede of lesbians trampled across the Capel St bridge to have a gaze and a lick (possibly).

Review: Tegan & Sara in Dublin

Jun 16th, 2010 | By click here | Category: Out on the Town

Never mind next week’s Dyke Night. With Pink (and possibly Heathers) out on the town in Dublin, last night’s Tegan and Sara gig at the Olympia marked quite the celesb-fest.

P!nk Back in Ireland

Oct 17th, 2009 | By Annie Aura | Category: Music

P!nk was back in Dublin for two sold-out nights at the O2 Arena in Dublin and will be back next year for a few open-air shows. Fans camped out overnight at the venue to make sure they got as close as possible to Her P!nkness but some were disappointed in the setlist and wondered why two Funhouse songs were replaced with earlier songs. A few mentioned that the show was more like a A Greatest Hits concert.

Alainn or Appalling: Pink

Oct 13th, 2009 | By HAL | Category: Alainn or Appalling

Is there a god(dess) of lesbians? Some say there is. Proof? Pink (and Ellen). Ok so she’s not a lesbian, but Pink is exactly what young women need to see; a woman who is not ashamed of her sexuality and not shy to admire the beauty of either gender.

A Suppa Earl Gae

Thank god for tea. It cures all ails. Your good writer partook of a beverage or 2 last night and is not feeling the better for it. However, she has done her best to search the world-wide interweb for all news and not so newsworthy stories about lovely ladies. We kick things off in our very own fair capital of Dublin with the news that the GAZE film festival is breaking records in its opening night last night.

5 Reasons why P!nk won’t come out in 2009

Jan 7th, 2009 | By Annie Aura | Category: This and That

We all love P!nk and it seems quite a few of us expect her to pop out of the closet this year. Here are 5 reasons why she won’t be doing any such thing.

Speaking Gaelick – Gaelick ag Caint

Oct 26th, 2008 | By HAL | Category: This and That

During the week, P!ink said in an interview that she loves men but that she had experienced sapphic attraction in her life. She wasn’t ashamed, far from it. The press, however, called her a ‘part-time’ lesbian. So is this a good thing, a bad thing or completely irrelevant? Let us know what you think….

The Sapphic Screen – Oct 12 to 18

Oct 11th, 2008 | By HAL | Category: The Small Screen

It’s a pretty bad week in the land of lesbian TV. The update on Leslie the Leprachaun in Sky is that she seems to be sick but is doing her best to work from home. It seems that way as there are a few films for us, but not as many as she has been spoiling us with over the past few weeks.
