Lesbian invisibility returns to the small screen, with a vengeance – let’s see what pickin’s are available for us in the coming week..

This week’s telly starts out with a good few things of interest but, by the end of the week, zip. I suppose, with this week being the anniversary of events in both World Wars, it’s understandable that TV is full of documentaries and films about those tough times. Nothing about the women who flew, fought, nursed or worked to keep things together back home. Did they not earn a mention?

Ladies, our voices have been heard. Yes, Lez the Leprechaun is back in Sky Movies. How do I know? When you see Boys Don’t Cry and Nina’s Heavenly Delights, you know that order has been restored.

More paltry pickings on the gogglebox this week. There’s the usual yummy Willow/Tara goodness everyday on Channel 6 and a few movies, but the days are getting darker by the looks of it. Is it too much to ask that, will all of those extra stations Sky Movies have, they put on a few lesbalicious flicks? Grumble, grumble….

It’s a pretty bad week in the land of lesbian TV. The update on Leslie the Leprachaun in Sky is that she seems to be sick but is doing her best to work from home. It seems that way as there are a few films for us, but not as many as she has been spoiling us with over the past few weeks.

Ladies I feel I must apologise. It seems I have gotten someone fired from their job. Yes, the day has come when the lesbian leprechaun in Sky Movies is no more. Now I don’t know if she has actually received her P45, but the evidence is clear: there are no lesbian films on any of the Sky Movies channels this week. Could she be on holiday? I pray to Xena that it be true.

Lots of delicious helpings of Mariska (above) as Olivia Benson in Law & Order SVU this week, and the lesbian leprechaun in Sky Movies is still ensuring we get some fabulous faggy fare. I have to find out who she is and buy her a drink or two.

This week it’s all about gorgeous women in cop shows, and a couple of movies to spice things up. I think there is a lesbian working in Sky, every couple of weeks she makes sure that Boys Don’t Cry is on, as well as more Angelina than any woman can handle. It’d be nice trying though.

This week’s combing through the TV listings sees a few gems pop up. As usual we’re spoilt for choice with women from all colours of the rainbow on the box. Oh I kill me!

Two helpings of Angelina, some slightly out-of-date L Word and a couple of jaw-dropping Oscar-winning performances in this week’s TV choice for the lady loving lady.
